Android Engineer, IN

Seeking an experienced Android developer to build and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for DAZN’s streaming platform. The role involves translating business requirements into scalable, performant Android solutions using modern best practices.

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin, MVVM, and Jetpack Compose
• Implement UI and state management, ensuring responsive and intuitive user experiences
• Integrate with backend services via REST APIs and handle data serialization
• Apply dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger) and asynchronous patterns (Coroutines/Flow)
• Debug and resolve application crashes, performance bottlenecks, and other issues
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and release management
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and backend teams to deliver features

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android development
• Hands‑on experience with MVVM architecture and Jetpack Compose
• Solid understanding of Coroutines/Flow for asynchronous programming
• Experience with dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and debugging tools (Logcat, Crashlytics)
• Basic knowledge of ExoPlayer/Media3 and streaming protocols (HLS, DASH, DRM)
• Version control experience with Git
