Android Developer

Sahasrara Digital Solutions Private Limited is looking for an early-career Android Developer to build, test, maintain, and improve native Android applications. The ideal candidate will have practical knowledge of Kotlin, Android Studio, modern Android components, API integration, and software-development fundamentals.

• Develop and maintain native Android application features primarily using Kotlin
• Integrate REST APIs, JSON-based backend services, and approved third-party SDKs
• Coordinate with UI/UX, backend, and QA teams to implement features from designs and API contracts

• Develop and maintain native Android application features primarily using Kotlin
• Work with Android Studio, Android SDK, and modern Android/Jetpack components
• Build responsive user interfaces using XML layouts and/or Jetpack Compose
• Integrate REST APIs, JSON-based backend services, and approved third-party SDKs/libraries
• Implement common mobile features such as authentication, forms, local storage, push notifications, and basic offline handling
• Use architecture patterns such as MVVM/MVC under team guidance
• Debug crashes, UI defects, API issues, and performance problems using Android Studio tools/logs

• Strong fundamentals in Kotlin; Java basics are useful for existing codebases
• Hands-on familiarity with Android Studio and Android SDK
• Understanding of activities/fragments or Compose navigation, application lifecycle, and common Android components
• Basic experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON
• Understanding of MVVM/MVC and object-oriented programming principles
• Git/version-control basics and ability to work through a code-review workflow
• Good debugging, problem-solving, and learning ability
