SW QA Engineer - Associate

Join Siemens Digital Industries Software as a Software QA Engineer to design, develop, and execute automated tests across a multiplatform environment, enhancing product quality and release confidence.

• Design, implement, maintain, and execute automated tests for functional, regression, integration, and end‑to‑end scenarios
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and Quality Engineers to define test cases and automation strategies
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide rapid feedback
• Perform API testing using RESTful services, Postman, Swagger, and validate data with SQL and SPARQL
• Investigate and resolve quality issues, analyze failures, and drive defect resolution with development teams
• Continuously enhance existing test frameworks, scripts, and utilities for maintainability and coverage
• Maintain clear test documentation and share knowledge within the Quality Center of Excellence

• 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing with hands‑on test automation
• Strong programming or scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or comparable language
• Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Katalon Studio, PyTest, TestNG, JUnit
• API testing and database validation experience (RESTful APIs, SQL queries, Postman, Swagger)
• Familiarity with SPARQL and RDF/knowledge graph concepts
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI)
• Understanding of Agile, Scrum, TDD, BDD methodologies
