Sr. Associate QA Engineer

Senior Associate QA Automation Engineer responsible for manual and automated testing across Ontada's product ecosystem, including AI-enabled and GenAI-powered solutions. Works closely with product managers, software engineers, and operations teams to deliver secure, scalable, and customer‑focused healthcare technology solutions.

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases for assigned features and product modules
• Participate in requirement reviews and identify test scenarios
• Document defects with clear reproduction steps and evidence
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing
• Support release validation across multiple environments
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and service‑layer testing
• Contribute to automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, TOSCA, etc.)
• Execute API automation tests using Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize AI‑assisted tools to improve productivity and test coverage
• Validate AI‑enabled and GenAI‑powered product features, including prompt‑based workflows
• Perform backend testing using SQL and/or NoSQL data systems
• Validate data ingestion, transformations, and persistence across services
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, reviews, retrospectives)
• Contribute audit‑ready documentation and root‑cause analysis for quality issues
• Identify opportunities for improving QA processes, tools, and documentation

• 2+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience
• 2+ years of hands‑on test automation experience
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or TOSCA
• API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or equivalent tools
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Experience with SQL for backend validation and data testing
• Familiarity with Git‑based source control systems
• Exposure to AI/GenAI testing concepts, prompt engineering, and RAG architectures
• Knowledge of healthcare technology or regulated environments
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
