The Salesforce QA Engineer ensures Salesforce platform solutions meet business, quality, and compliance requirements through manual and automated testing across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the engineer designs test plans, builds and maintains automation suites, integrates tests into CI/CD pipelines, manages defects, supports releases, and drives continuous improvement.

  • Design, review, and approve test plans, test strategies, and test cases for Salesforce initiatives
  • Develop and maintain automated Salesforce test suites for core business processes, regression scenarios, role‑based security, and Experience Cloud functionality
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD or scheduled execution pipelines
  • Analyze automation results, troubleshoot failures, and ensure alignment between automated and manual test coverage
  • Support Salesforce release readiness, provide QA approval based on test results, and manage defects
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
  • Develop and deliver training on Salesforce QA processes, automation frameworks, and best practices
  • Maintain QA documentation, SOPs, templates, and automation guidelines
  • Support internal audits or quality reviews by providing test evidence and traceability
  • Drive continuous improvement in test coverage and automation effectiveness
  • Support testing of Salesforce integrations, APIs, and AppExchange products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2–5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering
  • Hands‑on experience testing Salesforce applications or enterprise CRM platforms
  • Demonstrated experience designing, executing, and maintaining test automation for business applications
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, defect tracking and test management systems, manual and automated regression testing
  • Proficiency with standard productivity and reporting tools
