Senior Business Analyst - Salesforce

As a Senior Business Analyst at Takeda Pharmaceutical, you will take ownership of business analysis activities of medium to high complexity, working closely with stakeholders who rely on your expertise and judgment. You will lead the gathering, analysis, and documentation of software specifications, while partnering closely with development teams, product/platform owners, and QA to drive high-quality outcomes for our digital solutions.

• Work independently on business analysis tasks of medium to high complexity, delivering outputs according to company standards.
• Gather, analyse and document software specifications and business requirements through discussions, workshops, interviews, and refinement meetings.
• Decompose business needs into clear specifications and smaller blocks such as user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Maintain, update and manage documentation and analytical outputs for assigned applications.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product/platform owners, QA and other stakeholders to validate user stories and QA outcomes.
• Work with business stakeholders to identify challenges, opportunities and use cases for digital solutions; support creation of POCs.
• Review and control analytical outputs within the analytical team; ensure outputs are complete, consistent and aligned with standards.
• Prepare and present analysis results and reports to management and stakeholders.
• Provide continuous updates during project delivery; communicate changes, risks, issues and ambiguities.
• Guide and support junior members of the chapter when necessary.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis
• 3+ years of experience in a Lean/Agile development environment
• Understanding of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, harmonization, identity resolution, data modelling, and segmentation
• Familiarity with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, especially journeys, audience segmentation, data extensions, and campaign logic
• Working knowledge of Veeva CRM, including objects, field structures, and typical commercial/medical use cases
• Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence)
• Strong end-to-end BA skills: gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements
• Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria
• Data analysis skills (SQL or SOQL), with an ability to validate data quality, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and interpret data
• Knowledge on BPMN, UML including modelling tools
• Experience working with multiple systems and documenting data flows / system interactions
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
