Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to own quality on complex, data-driven, web-based applications and websites. In this 100% remote role, you will work closely with developers, product owners, and clients throughout the agile software development lifecycle to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Build test coverage that matches project risk, and communicate coverage decisions and tradeoffs to the team and client.
• Take part in backlog refinement and story shaping, helping the team write testable acceptance criteria before development starts.
• Partner with developers throughout each sprint to catch issues early, reproduce defects clearly, and resolve them.
• Perform hands-on testing against acceptance criteria throughout each project.
• Coordinate regression testing, scheduled client testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) directly with clients.
• Help improve QA processes and explore AI-assisted testing tools and techniques.

• Experience on an agile development team as a Quality Engineer, owning test strategy and execution across the full project lifecycle.
• Strong judgment about where automation adds value and where hands-on testing is the better investment.
• Experience writing comprehensive test plans and adapting coverage as requirements change.
• High-level understanding of how websites, web applications, APIs, databases, mobile apps, and the cloud work.
• Ability to support multiple client projects at once in scoped budgets or billable-hours environments.
• Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
