TTT - Data Engineering - Senior

EY’s Tax Technology team seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain data solutions for tax clients. The role involves building Snowflake data warehouses, data ingestion pipelines, and supporting analytics tools. Collaboration with partners, clients, and technical experts is essential.

• Design, develop, and implement data solutions and Snowflake data warehouses/data lakes
• Build data integration solutions, including ingestion from various sources using Snowpipe, Azure Data Factory, or other ETL tools
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL workflows and data layer components (databases, stored procedures, SQL queries)
• Collaborate with application developers to address system changes and impacts on SQL databases
• Define data solutions for business problems in partnership with project managers, seniors, and clients
• Communicate program strategies and plans with senior IT leaders

• 5+ years of experience with Snowflake, Azure SQL/SQL Server, database design and data modeling
• Experience with Snowpipe, Azure Data Factory, SSIS or other ETL tools
• Strong database programming skills: complex queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, cursors, UDFs
• Proficiency in data modeling (Star, Snowflake schema, Data Vault)
• Familiarity with Python for automation and scripting
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
