We are looking for a PostgreSQL Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our database infrastructure across multiple cloud and on-premise environments.
- Manage and administer EDB PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases
- Set up and maintain backup and recovery procedures using tools like pgBackRest and WAL
- Configure connection pooling and replication for high availability
- Monitor database performance using tools like Zabbix, Nagios, or Prometheus
- Write automation scripts in SQL, Bash, or Python
- Proficiency in database platforms such as EDB PostgreSQL, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
- Experience with database tools including pgBackRest, pgBouncer, PG Pool, and EFM
- Strong scripting skills in SQL, Bash, or Python
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Knowledge of database security protocols and compliance standards
