We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Engineer to manage and support the technology environment of our school clients in Bengaluru. The role is on‑site, working closely with teachers, administrators and the IT team to keep desktops, laptops, networking, classroom tech and Microsoft 365 services running smoothly. The engineer will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain network infrastructure, coordinate with vendors, and document all incidents and asset records.
- Provide day‑to‑day IT infrastructure and end‑user support across the school campus
- Install, configure and maintain Windows desktops and laptops
- Support LAN, Wi‑Fi and internet connectivity and perform basic network troubleshooting
- Manage switches, access points, routers, firewalls and related network infrastructure
- Maintain user accounts, access permissions and Microsoft 365/email administration
- Install and maintain standard software, antivirus, endpoint security and system updates
- Diagnose hardware and software issues, coordinate repairs/replacements with vendors
- Support classroom technology, computer labs, school events and examinations
- Maintain IT asset records, system inventory and documentation
- Coordinate with internet service providers and technology vendors for issue resolution
- Perform preventive maintenance and proactively identify infrastructure issues
- Escalate complex issues and follow them through to closure
- Provide support at other school campuses when required
- Assist with infrastructure planning and implementation for new classrooms or campuses
- 3–5 years of hands‑on IT infrastructure, desktop, and network support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows systems and desktop/laptop troubleshooting
- Proficiency with LAN, Wi‑Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS and basic network troubleshooting
- Experience supporting printers, projectors, interactive displays and peripherals
- Basic understanding of switches, routers, firewalls and access points
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration (advantage)
- Experience with endpoint security, antivirus, backups and IT asset management
- Excellent communication, documentation and problem‑resolution skills
