IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer

ZENNER India is seeking a professional, hands-on IT Support & Infrastructure Engineer to support day-to-day IT requirements and the further development of local IT infrastructure. The role acts as the primary local contact for IT matters, working closely with ZENNER Group IT in Germany and external service providers.

• Provide day-to-day IT support to employees including laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity
• Install, configure, and maintain laptops, workstations, peripherals, and standard company software
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, Teams, Outlook, Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN issues
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including equipment preparation and coordination of accounts and access rights
• Act as the primary local IT contact between ZENNER India and ZENNER Group IT in Germany
• Coordinate with external IT suppliers, specialist service providers, and contractors for infrastructure projects
• Support LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, Wi-Fi access points, firewalls, and related network equipment
• Maintain IT asset registers, hardware inventory, software/license records, and technical documentation
• Support implementation and compliance with Group IT security requirements, including MFA, endpoint protection, and backups

• 2–3 years of practical experience in IT support, infrastructure support, system administration or a similar position
• Very good spoken and written English
• Ability to communicate confidently in English with international colleagues, particularly ZENNER Group IT in Germany
• Professional personal presentation and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Good knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365
• Practical understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, VPN and basic firewall concepts
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues
