Global IT Infra/Cloud Engineer Senior Specialist

Boston Consulting Group seeks a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and secure cloud architectures across AWS and Azure. The role bridges development, operations, and security teams to embed security by design, automate deployments with IaC, and optimize performance, cost, and observability.

• Execute cloud infrastructure strategy aligned with business goals
• Design scalable, resilient, and cost‑effective architectures on AWS and Azure
• Implement IaC for automated deployments using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Manage and monitor cloud workloads for performance, reliability, and cost‑efficiency
• Automate provisioning and scaling with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration
• Deploy security monitoring and compliance automation tools (Veracode, Prisma Cloud)
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for seamless cloud deployments
• Implement serverless solutions (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
• Optimize log management, observability, and monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK)
• Support ML Ops pipelines and edge computing solutions
• Collaborate with engineers, security teams, and stakeholders to align infrastructure with IT objectives
• Develop and execute incident response plans and real‑time monitoring for proactive issue detection

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud platform engineering (AWS or Azure)
• 4+ years with Docker and Kubernetes
• 3+ years with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CircleCI, Octopus)
• 3+ years with Terraform and Packer
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Experience with cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Load Balancers, DNS)
• Familiarity with security tools (SonarQube, Veracode) and monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch, Splunk, ELK)
• Knowledge of secrets management (HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, CyberArk)
