Technology Lead Business Analyst - Vice President

Citi is seeking an experienced Business and Data Analysis Lead to play a pivotal role in the firm-wide implementation of the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) Internal Model Approach (IMA).

This leadership position bridges the gap between complex regulatory requirements, quantitative modeling, and technology execution, ensuring robust and compliant risk calculation frameworks.

• Act as the lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Market Risk regulations, primarily FRTB IMA
• Author detailed business and functional requirement documents for risk calculations and data transformations
• Define end-to-end data strategy, including sourcing, lineage, and quality controls
• Perform deep-dive data analysis to identify data gaps and ensure integrity
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Risk Management, Front Office, Quantitative Analytics, and Technology
• Design and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies

• 12-15 years of professional experience in business analysis and market risk
• Excellent knowledge of financial products and the market risk domain
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analysis using SQL and Python (e.g., Pandas)
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Master's degree, CFA, or FRM preferred)
