Software QA Engineer III

Cohesity is seeking a skilled Software QA Engineer III who is passionate about System Testing and dedicated to ensuring the highest product quality for our on-prem and SaaS offerings. In this role, you will work closely with engineering teams during feature design and implementation to test features end-to-end and deliver exceptional user experiences.

• Work on innovative products for on-prem and SaaS offering areas and act as a champion for test efforts of one or more features
• Collaborate with the engineering team during feature design and implementation phases
• Bring test methodology experience to craft test approaches and test features end-to-end
• Build comprehensive test plans based on previous knowledge
• Collaborate with developers, technical writers, and customer solutions engineers to deliver high-quality products
• Implement test plans by running manual and automated test cases
• Analyze failures, determine root causes, file defects, and follow up on resolutions
• Automate test cases, supervise, and lead continuous integration environments
• Mentor team members and provide influence to other business units

• BE/ME/M.Tech degree in addition to relevant professional experience
• 8+ years of demonstrated ability in testing systems products such as storage, networking, or virtualization
• Good knowledge of Linux and proficiency with Shell
• Prior experience in programming, preferably in Go or Python
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and streamline workflows
• Excellent problem-solving abilities spanning multiple software and hardware components
