Senior Software Engineer — Salesforce

Digital Business Solutions (DBS) at RELX India is seeking a Senior Software Engineer — Salesforce (Software Engineer-III) to drive software strategy for complex systems. You will perform research, design, and development within the Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and AI-powered solutions like Agentforce and Einstein to deliver scalable solutions for over 2,000 users.

• Interface with business analysts and technical team members to finalize requirements across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Write and review detailed technical specifications for custom Apex, LWC solutions, and AI agent designs
• Complete complex bug fixes across Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow automation, and third-party integrations
• Design, build, and govern AI-driven agents and automations within Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
• Mentor and onboard less-senior software developers on Salesforce development methodologies and optimization techniques

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, with 3+ years building and supporting enterprise Salesforce implementations
• Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and data manipulation/optimization techniques
• Deep working knowledge of Service Cloud and Experience Cloud platforms
• Hands-on proficiency with AI-assisted development and AI-driven service tooling (Agentforce/Einstein, GitHub Copilot, Cursor)
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required
• BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience
