QA Engineer / Business Analyst

Biltrax Construction Data is seeking a QA Engineer / Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and quality-driven software delivery.

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, data teams, and business stakeholders to define requirements and validate solutions.
• Drive both manual and automated testing processes alongside comprehensive business analysis, data validation, and SQL-based insights.

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, manual and automated test cases across web applications, APIs, and data platforms.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements including BRDs, FRDs, User Stories, and Process Flows.
• Perform data validation, SQL analysis, and data reconciliation to ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution, participating in sprint planning and UAT activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Business Analysis, or a hybrid QA-Business Analyst role.
• Strong expertise in SQL (complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, window functions).
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, REST APIs) and Agile/Scrum environments.
