QA Engineer – Automation & Manual Testing | 3-5 Years | Onsite | Bangalore | Immediate Joiners only

YMinds.AI is seeking a hands-on QA Engineer to take ownership of quality across web applications. The role focuses strongly on frontend/UI testing, test automation, and API testing to ensure reliable, high-quality products.

• Own the complete QA lifecycle, including test planning, execution, defect management, regression testing, and release validation.
• Perform functional, integration, system, UAT, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Design and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Test React/Next.js frontend applications across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate REST APIs, responses, data, and integrations.
• Validate end-to-end workflows involving booking, invoicing, commissions, payments, and supplier reconciliation.
• Perform data migration, data validation, and data parity testing.
• Create and maintain test cases, scenarios, test plans, and QA documentation.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects using Jira.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing.
• Monitor test results, defect trends, and overall product quality.
• Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices.

• Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing, with the ability to build or significantly own an automation framework.
• Strong knowledge of Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or comparable automation frameworks.
• Strong experience in frontend/UI testing, preferably with React-based applications.
• Good understanding of API testing, REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
• Basic to good knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience testing applications involving multiple services, databases, and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Jira and test management/defect tracking tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, debugging, and attention-to-detail skills.
