Python Mid/Senior Developer Web Scraping & Automation

Actowiz Solutions is looking for a skilled Python Developer with a focus on Web Scraping and Automation to join our technical team. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable crawling spiders to harvest data from various public sources, ensuring high-volume data extraction is clean, reliable, and resistant to anti-bot measures.

• Design, build, and deploy high-performance spiders using the Scrapy Framework
• Implement anti-bot bypass strategies including proxy rotation, user-agent spoofing, and CAPTCHA solving
• Implement Item Pipelines to clean, validate, and structure scraped data before storage
• Maintain and optimize existing spiders to adapt to changes in target website DOM structures
• Monitor spider performance, error rates, and latency using logging and debugging tools

• 2+ years of professional experience in web scraping, crawling, or data extraction
• Strong hands-on experience with the Scrapy framework
• Strong Python skills (functions, OOP, debugging, modular coding)
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Experience with JSON, REST APIs, and parsing structured and unstructured data
