Hexaware Technologies is seeking an IT Data Warehouse Business Analyst to gather and document business requirements, analyze source systems, and collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to design optimal data solutions.
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder workshops and discussions
- Create BRDs, functional specifications, and data mapping documents
- Analyze source systems, data flows, and define transformation rules
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers on data models, ETL requirements, and data quality
- Create and maintain Data Mapping Specifications (DMS/LMS)
- Manage requirement changes, scope, and stakeholder priorities
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for development teams
- 10+ years of working experience as an IT Data Warehouse Business Analyst
- Technical background with hands-on experience in Excel, SQL, and Databricks SQL
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, star schema, data marts, and data lakehouse concepts
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
