The Digital S/W Engineer Analyst SDE at Citi is a full‑time, Agile‑centric role that blends full‑stack development with comprehensive testing. The engineer will design, develop, and debug web front‑end components in Angular and back‑end micro‑services using Java Spring Boot, while also creating and executing BDD automated and manual test scripts. Responsibilities include participating in sprint planning, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and post‑production support, ensuring that all code meets ADA accessibility and SDLC standards.

  • Translate application designs into code across Angular and Java Spring Boot platforms
  • Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot to generate, refactor, and debug code
  • Develop, maintain, and execute BDD automated and manual test scripts in a CI/CD environment (RTC, Jenkins)
  • Write secure, stable, and testable code under senior guidance and take accountability for assigned features
  • Maintain documentation, test plans, exit reports, and traceability artifacts
  • Analyze root causes of application issues, collaborate on defect triage, and perform post‑production support
  • Conduct functional validations, responsive web design checks, and ADA accessibility testing using tools such as NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and Axe
  • Participate in retrospectives, process improvement workshops, and audits
  • Engage in team meetings and track progress against sprint objectives
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related STEM field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–5 years of experience in full‑stack Angular development and/or testing
  • Basic familiarity with BDD concepts and test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cucumber)
  • Exposure to cloud‑based development platforms such as OpenShift (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite
