Postman is hiring a Technical Writer to create world-class API documentation, developer guides, and tutorials for the Postman platform used by 30M+ developers globally.
You will make complex API concepts accessible and help developers succeed with Postman's REST, GraphQL, and WebSocket testing features.
- 3–5 years technical writing for developer or API products
- Deep understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth
- Markdown, OpenAPI/Swagger documentation tools
- Experience writing for developer audiences — engineers and architects
- Docs-as-code workflow with Git and CI/CD
- Video tutorial scripting experience a plus
- Write and maintain Postman REST API and GraphQL feature documentation
- Create step-by-step developer tutorials for new Postman features
- Collaborate with engineering and product on documentation at launch
- Improve documentation based on developer community feedback
- Build docs-as-code pipeline for documentation versioning
- Contribute to Postman Learning Centre API guides
