Mphasis is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale digital transformation engagement for a US-based financial services client. The role is based in Bangalore and involves managing a distributed team of 30+ engineers across India and the US.
The ideal candidate brings a strong technical background combined with excellent project management skills, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance experience in an IT services context.
- Manage end-to-end project delivery covering scope, schedule, and budget
- Coordinate between onshore client stakeholders and offshore delivery teams
- Drive agile delivery practices and governance across multiple work streams
- 8+ years of IT project management experience in a services company
- PMP certification is required; PRINCE2 or Agile certifications are a plus
- Strong technical background (prior software development experience preferred)
- Experience managing teams of 20+ members in a global delivery model
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Project, JIRA, and project governance tools
- Own project delivery plans, milestones, and risk registers
- Conduct weekly status reviews with client and internal leadership
- Manage resource allocation and team capacity planning
- Drive issue resolution and escalation management
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery SLAs
