Cognizant is hiring a System Administrator to manage and maintain Windows and Linux server environments for a large US healthcare client. You will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of on-premise and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

- Manage Windows Server and Linux (RHEL/CentOS) environments
- Handle user account management and group policies via Active Directory
- Monitor server performance and respond to infrastructure alerts
- 2-4 years of system administration experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019 and Linux (RHEL)
- Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS/DHCP
- Familiarity with VMware virtualization
- Knowledge of backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures
- MCSA or RHCSA certification preferred
- Basic scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash
- Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
- Perform patch management and OS upgrades
- Monitor infrastructure health using Nagios/SCOM
- Execute change requests following ITIL-based change management processes
