Sandvik is on an exciting growth journey, building the new digital era of manufacturing. We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to ensure that software applications and systems meet defined quality standards, business requirements, and user expectations by identifying defects, validating functionality, and improving overall product reliability before release.
- Review business and technical requirements, identify ambiguities or missing acceptance criteria, and ensure testability
- Create detailed manual and automated test scenarios, test plans, and define testing scope and strategy
- Execute functional, regression, integration, UAT, and smoke and sanity testing
- Document defects clearly and track them through resolution using tools like Github, Azure DevOps, and Jira
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts, build CI/CD test pipelines using frameworks such as TestComplete, Tosca, Playwright, or JUnit
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and/or equivalent experience in the field of technology
- 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance
- Experience working with scrum processes and agile testing
- Good knowledge of QA processes
