Google is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of Google Cloud Storage. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, large-scale infrastructure, and technical leadership.
The role involves leading a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient storage solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience
- 8 years of experience in software development
- 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
- 2 years of experience in a people management or team leadership role
- Lead a team of engineers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and efficient storage solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project goals and objectives
