Software Engineer (SAP APO/IBP Consultant)

Lead the design, configuration, testing, training, and deployment of SAP APO/IBP planning solutions across global manufacturing sites. Provide production support, maintain master data, develop interfaces with ECC/S4, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Design and configure SAP APO/IBP solutions based on business requirements
• Maintain and update master data (BOMs, resources, classifications, batch structures)
• Develop and maintain interfaces between Planning and ECC/S4 systems
• Provide production support for global planning and manufacturing operations
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and operations to resolve technical and process issues
• Document functional design specifications and detailed documentation for custom enhancements and BI/Analytics
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement optimization methods

• Minimum 8 years hands‑on SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS) or SAP IBP (Demand, Supply, Inventory, S&OP) experience
• At least 2 full‑lifecycle APO/IBP implementations
• Expertise in DP, SNP, PP/DS, statistical forecasting, supply heuristics, inventory optimization
• Strong knowledge of master data: BOMs, resources, PDS/PPM, classifications, material/batch structures
• Solid understanding of ECC/S4 integration (MM, PP, SD, FI/CO) and CIF integrations
• Ability to produce detailed functional design specifications and feasibility analyses
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
