Software Engineer (Java, React & Google Cloud Platform)

Design, develop, deploy, and support cloud-based applications that power Ford’s diagnostics, repair, and service capabilities, using Java, React, and Google Cloud Platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain Java and React applications on GCP.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and web‑based applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed specifications.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and engineers on integrations, testing, deployments, and production support.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and solution design activities.
• Ensure software quality through testing and engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot application issues and continuously improve performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java.
• Strong hands‑on experience with React.
• Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience developing web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
