Postman is hiring a Software Engineer to build the API Platform backend — the mock server, test runner, and collection sharing infrastructure used by 30M+ developers worldwide to collaborate on API development.

3–5 years Node.js or Go backend engineering
REST and GraphQL API design for developer platforms
PostgreSQL and Redis for platform data
AWS: S3, SQS, and Lambda for serverless functions
Docker and Kubernetes
Deep understanding of HTTP protocol and API development

Build Postman mock server and API simulation features
Develop collection sharing and team collaboration backend
Design API versioning and diff features for developer workflows
Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
Optimise backend performance for high-throughput API requests
Participate in technical design reviews and code mentoring
