Cognizant is hiring a skilled ServiceNow Developer with ITOM expertise to implement and configure IT Operations Management solutions for a large financial services client. You will work on Service Mapping, Discovery, Event Management, and Cloud Provisioning configurations.
The role involves translating complex infrastructure visibility requirements into ServiceNow ITOM configurations and integrations, helping the client achieve full CMDB accuracy and automated incident creation from monitoring tools.
- Configure ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping patterns
- Build Event Management integrations with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, PagerDuty)
- Implement Cloud Management for AWS and Azure provisioning via ServiceNow
- 3-6 years of ServiceNow development with ITOM specialization
- ServiceNow CIS-ITOM certification is strongly preferred
- Deep hands-on experience with Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management
- Knowledge of integration patterns with monitoring and alerting tools
- Scripting proficiency in JavaScript and GlideScript
- Understanding of ITIL IT operations processes
- Configure Discovery schedules and CMDB population for client infrastructure
- Build Service Maps linking business services to underlying infrastructure
- Implement Event Management integrations with client monitoring platforms
- Develop Cloud Provisioning workflows for AWS and Azure resources
- Conduct CMDB health assessments and remediation plans
