Postman is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build the Rust and WebAssembly-based API execution engine powering Postman's request runner and collection execution for 30M+ developers worldwide.

5+ years systems or backend engineering with 3+ years Rust
WebAssembly (WASM) compilation and runtime experience
JavaScript and TypeScript for WASM interoperability
HTTP protocol internals: HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2, and HTTP/3
TLS and certificate handling in Rust
Performance benchmarking and profiling expertise

Build Rust API execution engine for Postman request runner
Compile and optimise Rust to WebAssembly for browser execution
Implement advanced HTTP protocol features for API testing
Design WASM JavaScript interop layer for Postman collection runner
Profile and optimise request execution performance
Write comprehensive Rust unit and integration tests
