Design and develop secure, well-tested features across a TypeScript/Node.js backend and React frontend Contribute to our API-first infrastructure — the engine behind how partners integrate insurance into their products Build AI-powered features using Claude and Gemini — from intelligent claims automation to LLM-assisted OPS tooling we run in production today Design and implement agentic workflows — multi-step, LLM-orchestrated processes that replace manual ops tasks across claims, support, and partner onboarding Work across the full stack with PostgreSQL, Redis, DocumentDB, Kafka, and AWS Collaborate closely with Product, Platform Engineering, Finance, and Operations to turn business requirements into reliable, maintainable solutions Drive technical improvements in quality, performance, and security — your initiative is welcome, not just tolerated We operate in a regulated environment (BaFin, DORA, EU compliance), so thoughtfulness about security and data integrity — including when AI is in the loop — is part of the job. If this sounds like your kind of work, we want to hear from you. 5+ years as a Software Engineer — we care about the quality of your experience, not just the length Very strong command of TypeScript / JavaScript and Node.js; familiarity with React is a plus Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or similar) — you've built something real with them, not just experimented Familiarity with AI-native development patterns: prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, tool/function calling, agentic orchestration, or MCP Comfort reasoning about AI reliability and risk in production — output validation, fallback strategies, observability of LLM-driven flows Hands-on experience with databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, or DocumentDB; event-driven systems (Kafka or similar) are a bonus Comfor
