Ion is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and develop software utilizing common coding standards and design patterns for APIs and interfaces in a variety of languages, including C/C++, Java, and C#.
The ideal candidate will diagnose and debug new and existing software as part of our extensive trading system using Microsoft Visual Studio and other modern debugging tools.
- Proficiency in C/C++, Java, and/or C#
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and modern debugging tools
- Strong understanding of common coding standards and design patterns
- Design and develop software for APIs and interfaces
- Diagnose and debug new and existing software
- Collaborate with business experts and customers to understand end-user requirements
- Build robust solutions with engineering teams
