Krutrim AI is hiring a Senior NLP Scientist to build and fine-tune large language models for Hindi and Indic languages — powering India's own generative AI that understands Bharat's culture, context, and languages at depth.
This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to build India's own AI foundation model from the ground up.
- 5+ years NLP research or engineering experience
- LLM pre-training and fine-tuning at scale (10B+ parameter models)
- Deep expertise in Hindi NLP and Indic language processing
- PyTorch and distributed training (DDP, FSDP)
- Publications in ACL, EMNLP, or NAACL strongly preferred
- PhD in Computational Linguistics or CS preferred
- Research and build Hindi and Indic LLM pre-training datasets
- Fine-tune Krutrim foundation models for instruction following
- Develop Hindi RLHF and preference learning pipelines
- Evaluate model quality on Indic language benchmarks
- Publish research on Indic NLP and LLMs
- Mentor junior NLP engineers and researchers
