Flipkart's AI & Data Science team is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to build next-generation supply chain optimization and demand forecasting systems. Your models will influence inventory decisions worth billions of rupees across Flipkart's warehouses and supplier network.
You will own the full ML lifecycle — from feature engineering and model training on massive datasets to deployment and monitoring in production. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of ML research and engineering scale.
- Build demand forecasting models for 500+ million SKUs across India
- Develop ML-driven supply chain optimization algorithms
- Deploy and monitor models on Flipkart's ML serving infrastructure
- 5-8 years of ML engineering experience
- Expert Python skills with XGBoost, LightGBM, PyTorch, or TensorFlow
- Experience with time series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM)
- Large-scale data processing with Spark or distributed computing
- Experience with feature stores and ML platforms (MLflow, SageMaker)
- Understanding of supply chain or logistics is a plus
- Design and implement demand forecasting models at massive scale
- Build feature engineering pipelines using Spark
- Deploy models via A/B tested rollouts on Flipkart's ML platform
- Monitor model drift and retrain pipelines
- Collaborate with operations teams to validate model business impact
