Udaan's Buyer Finance team is hiring a Senior Java Backend Engineer to build the digital credit, EMI, and buy-now-pay-later features that help 3M+ small retailers access working capital digitally through Udaan's embedded fintech platform.
- 5–7 years Java and Spring Boot backend engineering
- Fintech or lending platform experience strongly preferred
- PostgreSQL at scale
- Kafka for lending event-driven workflows
- Spring Security for financial data access control
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Build credit limit assignment and EMI loan origination services
- Design digital credit product APIs for B2B retailer integration
- Implement RBI digital lending compliance in all credit features
- Write comprehensive JUnit and integration tests
- Lead technical design reviews for credit platform
- Mentor junior engineers on fintech engineering practices
