Nykaa's Data Science team is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to build beauty product recommendation, personalisation, and search ranking models for 25M+ monthly beauty shoppers.

  • 5+ years data science in e-commerce or consumer tech
  • Expert recommendation systems: collaborative filtering, neural CF
  • Python: PyTorch, scikit-learn, and XGBoost
  • A/B experiment design for recommendation evaluation
  • Large-scale feature engineering with Spark
  • Beauty or fashion domain experience is a strong plus
  • Build and improve product recommendation models for Nykaa homepage and PDPs
  • Develop beauty search ranking and personalisation models
  • Run A/B experiments to measure recommendation impact on revenue
  • Build real-time personalisation features with sub-100ms latency
  • Mentor junior data scientists
  • Present model ROI to CMO and product leadership
