Nokia India's BSS (Business Support Systems) R&D team in Hyderabad is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to develop the Nokia Digital Operations Centre — a cloud-native BSS platform for real-time order management, billing, and customer care used by 100+ global telecom operators.
- 5–7 years Java or Python backend engineering
- Microservices architecture with Kubernetes and Istio
- Apache Kafka for telecom order and billing event streaming
- PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch for BSS data management
- TMF Open API (620, 641, 679) for BSS integration
- Telecom billing or order management domain experience preferred
- Build Nokia Digital Operations Centre cloud-native BSS features
- Develop TMF Open API-compliant order management and billing APIs
- Implement Kafka event-driven workflows for telecom service activation
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests
- Lead technical design reviews for BSS platform features
- Support Nokia operator customer BSS integration projects
