Cars24 is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to build the APIs and systems powering India's largest used car marketplace — including pricing intelligence, inspection scheduling, and car financing for 800,000+ annual transactions.

  • 4–7 years Python and Django development
  • Django REST Framework and FastAPI
  • PostgreSQL and Redis at scale
  • Celery for async task processing
  • AWS deployment: EC2, RDS, S3, SQS
  • Strong system design for marketplace platforms
  • Build RESTful APIs for car listing, pricing, and financing features
  • Design system architecture for high-concurrency auction features
  • Write comprehensive pytest unit and integration tests
  • Optimise slow PostgreSQL queries with proper indexing
  • Lead technical design discussions with product team
  • Mentor junior Python engineers
