PhonePe's Security team is hiring a Security Engineer to build application security and payment fraud prevention systems protecting 500M+ users from cyber threats, account takeovers, and UPI fraud.
- 4–6 years cybersecurity or application security with fintech experience
- Mobile app security: Android and iOS reverse engineering and hardening
- OWASP Mobile Top 10 and payment application security
- Device fingerprinting and behavioural biometrics for fraud prevention
- Python or Go for security tooling development
- RBI cyber security framework for payment companies
- Build device fingerprinting and account takeover prevention systems
- Conduct mobile application security reviews for Android and iOS apps
- Develop behavioural analytics for UPI fraud pattern detection
- Implement security controls for RBI cyber security framework compliance
- Run red team exercises for payment infrastructure security assessment
- Produce security advisories for PhonePe engineering teams
