Amazon India is hiring an SDE II to build the checkout and payment experience for Amazon.in — one of India's most visited e-commerce destinations, processing millions of daily orders across COD, UPI, cards, and EMI.
- 3–7 years software development experience
- Strong Java or Kotlin development
- Distributed systems and microservices design
- AWS services: DynamoDB, SQS, Lambda, and API Gateway
- Strong algorithms and data structures
- Experience with high-traffic checkout or payment systems preferred
- Build and own Amazon India checkout and payment microservices
- Design systems for 99.99% availability during Amazon Great Indian Festival
- Write high-quality, well-tested production code in Java
- Lead technical design reviews for checkout features
- Mentor SDE I engineers in the team
