We are seeking a senior/principal-level GCP Data Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines. This role requires strong hands-on engineering skills along with leadership, mentorship, and strategic planning capabilities.
- Design and build scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows on GCP
- Lead architecture decisions and enforce best practices for data engineering
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability across platforms
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews
- Collaborate with product owners on roadmap and strategy
- 10+ years in data engineering with strong GCP ecosystem experience
- Strong hands-on coding skills in Python and SQL
- Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer, Apache Spark, and Apache Airflow
- Proven experience leading teams or acting as a technical lead
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
