Wipro is hiring a QA Automation Engineer for its digital quality engineering practice in Hyderabad. You will design and implement automation frameworks to ensure the highest quality of enterprise software solutions for our global clients.
The role involves working across web, mobile, and API layers, contributing to a shift-left testing culture that integrates quality into every stage of development.
- Build automation test suites using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and prevent defects early
- 2-4 years of experience in QA automation
- Proficiency in Selenium WebDriver or Playwright or Cypress
- Strong programming skills in Java or Python
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured)
- Familiarity with CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, or pytest frameworks
- Experience with JIRA or similar test management tools
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks
- Execute regression, integration, and smoke test suites
- Report and track defects through the full lifecycle
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability of features
- Contribute to test documentation and knowledge sharing
