Virtusa India is hiring a QA Automation Engineer for its banking technology practice in Pune. You will design and maintain automation test suites for a core banking application serving a large European bank, ensuring quality across web, API, and integration layers.
The role involves working closely with developers and business analysts in a SAFe Agile delivery environment, driving shift-left testing practices and integrating automation into continuous delivery pipelines.
- Build and maintain Selenium WebDriver-based test automation suites in Java
- Develop API automation tests using RestAssured
- Integrate automated tests into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines
- 2-5 years of test automation experience with Selenium WebDriver
- Strong Java or Python programming skills
- Experience with TestNG or JUnit frameworks
- REST API testing using RestAssured or Postman
- Knowledge of CI/CD integration with Jenkins or GitLab
- Banking domain experience is a plus
- Design test automation frameworks from scratch for new modules
- Maintain and extend existing Selenium test suites
- Implement API and database validation tests
- Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Report on automation coverage, pass rates, and defect trends
