Meesho is hiring a Principal Engineer to define the distributed systems architecture for the supply chain and order management platform handling millions of orders for 140M+ buyers and 15M+ small businesses across India.
- 10+ years engineering with Principal Engineer experience
- Expert distributed systems: consistency models, CAP theorem, event sourcing
- Java or Go for high-scale backend systems
- Kafka, Cassandra, and PostgreSQL at petabyte scale
- Cross-functional technical leadership and architecture governance
- Experience designing for Tier 2/3 India connectivity constraints
- Define and govern distributed systems architecture for order management
- Solve complex scalability and reliability challenges at Meesho scale
- Review and approve high-impact technical design proposals
- Mentor senior and staff engineers across supply chain teams
- Drive technical strategy for Meesho's India-first engineering approach
- Represent engineering in product and executive strategy forums
