Razorpay is hiring a PostgreSQL DBA to manage production database clusters handling millions of financial transactions with strict performance, reliability, and compliance requirements.
You will own query performance, streaming replication, high-availability failover, and zero-downtime schema migrations for Razorpay's payment infrastructure.
- 3–5 years PostgreSQL DBA experience
- Streaming and logical replication management
- pgBouncer connection pooling
- EXPLAIN ANALYZE and query tuning expertise
- AWS RDS and Aurora PostgreSQL
- Python for automation scripting
- Schema migration tooling: Flyway or Liquibase
- Manage PostgreSQL production cluster health and performance
- Optimise slow queries and missing indexes
- Handle replication lag and failover events
- Execute zero-downtime schema migrations
- Support application engineers with DB design reviews
