Pine Labs is hiring a POS Hardware Engineer to design, qualify, and manage the Android-based POS terminal hardware used by 500,000+ merchant outlets across India for payment acceptance.

3–5 years embedded hardware or IoT device engineering experience
Android POS or embedded Linux hardware bring-up experience
NFC, EMV, and magnetic stripe card reader integration
Hardware certification: PCI PTS, EMVCo, and BIS
Thermal printer and barcode scanner peripheral qualification
PCB schematic review and signal integrity understanding

Manage Android POS terminal hardware design and qualification with ODM partners
Qualify NFC, EMV chip, and magnetic stripe reader components
Lead PCI PTS and EMVCo certification processes
Test POS terminal reliability and performance in environmental chambers
Manage hardware component lifecycle and EOL management
Produce hardware qualification reports for RBI and card network submission
