Swiggy Platform Engineering is hiring a Platform Engineer to build the observability and Kubernetes infrastructure used by 300+ engineers delivering food and groceries to millions of customers daily.
You will design scalable observability stacks, improve developer productivity, and reduce infrastructure costs across Swiggy's multi-region AWS deployment.
- 4–7 years platform or DevOps engineering
- Kubernetes operator and custom controller development
- OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger
- Terraform and Helm chart authoring
- Python or Go for platform tooling
- AWS multi-region architecture experience
- Build and maintain Swiggy's multi-region Kubernetes platform
- Implement OpenTelemetry-based distributed tracing
- Develop Prometheus alerting and Grafana dashboard standards
- Create developer self-service tooling for infrastructure provisioning
- Optimise AWS spend through right-sizing and spot strategy
- Mentor engineers on platform and observability best practices
