PhonePe is hiring a Financial Controller to own the financial reporting, statutory compliance, and investor reporting for India's most valuable unlisted fintech company — handling the complex multi-entity financial structure of payments, insurance, and lending businesses.
- 10+ years finance with CA qualification and Big 4 experience preferred
- Multi-entity fintech or payment company financial reporting experience
- Ind AS and IFRS financial reporting for complex financial service entities
- RBI financial reporting for Payment System Operators
- Investor reporting and board presentation experience for unicorn fintech
- SAP or Oracle ERP financial modules
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual Ind AS financial reporting for PhonePe Group
- Manage statutory audit across payments, insurance, and lending entities
- Produce board pack, investor reporting, and regulatory filings
- Oversee GST, income tax, and TDS compliance for PhonePe Group
- Lead finance team of 15 finance managers and analysts
- Partner with CFO on IPO readiness financial framework
