This role focuses on building new low-code web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX) and providing ongoing support and enhancements to existing applications. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, translate them into robust, user-friendly, production-ready solutions, and ensure applications align with organizational needs. The position emphasizes hands-on development, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality, scalable applications that drive business efficiency. *U.S. citizenship is required for this position. What You'll Do: Design, develop, test, and deploy new Oracle APEX applications based on business requirements and specifications. Support and enhance existing APEX applications, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, performance tuning, and implementing feature improvements. Work directly with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand current processes, gather detailed requirements, identify pain points, and propose APEX-based solutions. Translate business needs into technical designs, including UI/UX layouts, data models, workflows, and integrations. Build responsive, secure, and maintainable applications using APEX components such as Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Charts, Forms, Dynamic Actions, RESTful Services, and Automations. Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure applications meet quality standards and are production-ready. Optimize application performance, implement security best practices (e.g., authentication, authorization, row-level security), and adhere to coding standards.
