Signzy is hiring a Junior Node.js Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join its backend team building KYC and digital onboarding APIs used by India's largest banks. You will work on APIs that process identity verification, document OCR, and video KYC workflows for millions of banking customers.
This is an exciting early-career role at a Y Combinator-backed fintech startup where you will learn deeply about regulatory KYC technology and financial services engineering.
- Build and maintain Node.js APIs for KYC and identity verification workflows
- Integrate with government identity systems (Aadhaar, PAN, DigiLocker)
- Write automated tests to ensure API reliability and compliance
- 1-2 years of Node.js backend development experience
- Knowledge of Express.js or NestJS for REST API development
- Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL
- Basic understanding of authentication (JWT, OAuth 2.0)
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda)
- Understanding of KYC or financial compliance is a bonus
- Develop REST APIs for customer onboarding and identity verification
- Integrate third-party verification APIs and government identity services
- Write unit and integration tests for all new endpoints
- Participate in daily standups and sprint reviews
- Debug production issues and provide quick resolutions
